Martin Kace is plagued with seeing things—mostly he sees unlimited opportunities where others often see obstacles. He believes that lots of good ideas get lost in bad communication and has spent most of his life trying to communicate creatively and effectively, (though perhaps not with his parents).
A psychologist by training, Martin first learned his craft in fashion. He is the former CEO and CUP (Chief Underwear Pundit) of Joe Boxer, former CEO of Phat Fashions aka Phat Farm. Martin is an instructor at the New York School of Visual Arts where he teaches courses in Design and Enterprise to Masters’ candidates. He also sits on the Thesis and Admissions committees there.
Martin serves on a number of boards, among them Creative Time and the Tel Aviv Museum International Board of Governors. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and English Literature from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and two Masters’ Degrees in Psychology from Columbia University. He is married to Bella Meyer, and has a few kids. He resides in New York but becomes a different kind of alive in Tel Aviv.
