Uri Leventer was born in Israel, and from a young age found meaning in story-telling. For five years he told stories as a news editor in a national Israeli newspaper (Ha’aretz) and as a producer in a national TV news channel (Channel 10). Before that he spent five years telling less public stories as an intelligence officer in the Israeli military. In June 2008 Uri received his Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where he spent two years listening to the stories of people who changed the world. He joined Empax hoping to help non-profits and social entrepreneurs do a better job telling their stories.
