Classroom Fun

Classroom Fun
Kick off the school year with the funnest class you’ve ever been to.

As summer winds down and Indian summer approaches, Empax would like to invite the eternal student in you to join us for something of a back-to-school event. No calculus or frog dissecting. Yes networking. Yes some schmoozing about how to refresh your nonprofit’s brand. And, naturally, there will be wine and beer. This is a great opportunity to evaluate your life as seen through the lens of your nonprofit brand:  Still effective? Still on message? Raising enough funds?

Martin Kace, founder of Empax, co-founder of Joe Boxer and professor of branding at the School of Visual Arts, will be leading the conversation on how visual identity shapes the public’s perception of nonprofits while on a beer buzz, and holding forth a bit about how that impacts potential donors, grantmakers, workers and volunteers.

Who knows – you may learn something valuable. And we’ll stay away from pitching and pop quizzes. Promise.

Rest assured, we’re legit.

Location: Our office, 27 W. 24th St. (between 5th and 6th)

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 9

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
