Irina is a graphic designer originally from Moscow, Russia. After getting her Bachelor’s from the University of Maryland College Park, she moved to New York where she worked as a designer and volunteered as mentor with the AIGA/NY Mentoring Program. Somewhere in between working and mentoring, she decided creating positive social change was where she saw herself, so she came to the Master’s program in Design at the School of Visual Arts where she’s currently in her last year.
Irina’s favorite food is peanut butter. She also loves gelato. In fact, when she lived in Italy, she tried over 112 different flavors of gelato. She is an ENTP, she prefers red wine to white, nonfiction to fiction, and sunny side up to scrambled. Irina has 3 moods: Good, Better and Party!
