Born and raised in northern California, Veronica headed east for college, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism from Syracuse University, and subsequently has been asked, “Why did you ever leave the west coast for upstate New York?” a million times since. While she still hasn’t settled on a good answer, her migration east has successfully started her on a journey towards helping organizations create a global community of social responsibility.
Having worked as a photojournalist for three different newspapers and at CBS News, Veronica’s most recent position was as the Communications & Media Director at the nonprofit organization Between Four Eyes. Her passion is telling stories that make people see in a new light, and help advance just causes. When she’s not working, Veronica taps back in to her California roots, and enjoys hiking, cooking vegetarian fare, reading lengthy fiction, and all things ‘crafty’.
