Despite Harlem United’s prestige and respect within its field, it was not making the emotional connection or presenting its organizational depth and potential to its various key stakeholders.

Solution

Empax conceived a way for Harlem United to communicate authentically and with authority, by shifting the organization’s vernacular. By assessing and reconstructing the user experience design of their website, we developed a new online platform that bound the reality of Harlem United to the perception of all its stakeholders.

The site combined a bold and assertive visual language with precise functionality, addressing the needs of everyone from policy makers to volunteers to individuals in need of HIV counseling. The new website provides a space to share the compelling narrative that is engrained in everything Harlem United does, and offers a much deeper engagement experience for all users.
