Jennifer Daniel was raised in the red state of Kansas and at a young age she confused the locals by abstaining from driving a car or eating meat. After studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art she moved to New York and began drinking four cups of coffee a day and working as an illustrator and designer. Jennifer’s work is an extension of her subversive wit— and while she doesn’t always know what she’s trying to say or prove, if anything, it’s funny and usually evocative too. Her work has appeared regularly in many publications including The New York Times, Print, Seed, and Heeb Magazine. Jennifer enjoys throwing paper airplanes out her ninth story window at Empax, reading wikipedia and taking apart broken computers.
